Within our world, responsibility and accountability defines how a person controls their universe, their worlds. Because of people's need to escape, they abuse the pleasures that come with our physical bodies. People abuse it through sex, plants, food, or the synthetic products supposedly created to ease pain or ailments. For one or more reasons, people indulge in things without the principle of moderation or restriction to guide them. These are our demons, our enemies that we create and set up for ourselves - that help reinforce a low quality of life. And no one in this world is more marginalized as a tool for abuse, in my view, than our sisters and women in general (hence the chains etc.). I created the above piece of art to convey this message.
