The African Blood Brotherhood (ABB) was an organization put together in 1919 to fight against the rampant acts of lynching that took place against victimized blacks during the early 20th Century. It lasted until 1924

They helped the
Honorable Marcus Garvey in organizing as well as propose that a separate land should be given to African Americans so that they may not be victims of racial violence.

This piece of information is something for all of us to remember. It also lets us know that our fight against injustice had many faces and a wide spectrum of ideologies that existed before the popular groups of the 60s and so on.
