The answer is yes and no. While a crime fighter in the comics, on television shows, as well as movies, do a service for humanity, we don't see many fighting on behalf of the family. From the vigilante with no powers, to the extrordinary being wielding a great amount of power, most are NOT FAMILY ORIENTED! In the real world, they would be as useless as a deadbeat daddy. So a father is NOT a superhero in this sense.

Fantasy makes us imagine that a superhero is one with the ability to perform feats that only exist (presently) within the mind. However, a father that takes care of his family, spiritually, economically, lovingly, etc., has more power than anyone can imagine. Why? He has the power to not only support life, but maintain a qualitative existence for his mate (s) and the children he loves (biological or otherwise).

A responsible and prioritizing father has the power to destroy, or keep at bay, dysfunctionality. Dysfunction is the demon that many of us struggle with the most. In this sense, a father is indeed the hero of the household, and by extension, the community, and the nation. DEOZI! For Artwork Services, Contact deozi@deozi.com
